Drag & Drop Re-ordering of sites not working in 2.8

The Drag & Drop feature is one that I used often to make sure my most-visited sites were in a specific order. When I try to drag & drop, FD puts it where IT wants, not where I tried to drop it. It used to swap sites between the two slots, but it no longer does that.

It would be helpful to know what Previous Version of Fast Dial you were using before you encountered this problem.
Did the problem occur after upgrading from Version 1.x,
or simply after changing Version in 2.x

Yes...
It would be very interesting
Or to put the question another way, have you tried disabling all your other extensions, while runnning Fast Dial, or running fast dial in a new profile
This would be very helpful as it unclear at the moment what is causing this problem.

If you send me your places.sqlite and tell which bookmarks to drag-n-drop to reproduce the problem, I can try to fix it.

Submitted by nomad on Sat, 09/13/2008 - 11:17Had the same problem, fixed it by going into the bookmark manager, right clicking on the troublesome folder and selecting Sort by name.

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Sat, 09/13/2008 - 23:59I'm having this problem too. Using FF3.0.1 with FastDial2.9. After I upgraded to 2.8, all thumbnails stopped cooperating and won't go where I put them. I tried what nomad did but that didn't help.
