, but its "Recovered Windows".
Having all sorts of problems cause I want Wubi, had a taste of it, I want to use it as Default.
It won't let me boot up Wubi, even though I have downloaded it and installed it.
Uninstalled and installed several times, done 3 System Restores.
I am downloading again having deleted all evidence of Wubi and having done a 4th system Restore to 5 days ago.
Hopefully it will work now.
I will let you know one way or another if it works or not.

yet to figure out my SSID, I am sure I put in yesterday my connection name BTHomehub-425D
Ubuntu worked yesterday early evening, but it was not the same configuration as this.
it worked wirelessly, but I was not logged in as jmarkybb, cant remember the exact term but there was no username in top right corner.
and there was two icons on desktop, one called "Examples", they were of PDF style documents, that icon had a padlock on it.
and the other icon was called "Setup", when I clicked on that icon, a "Partition Window" opened, it would not let me configure it, said something along lines of "You need to partition drive"
Before I tried to do the partition, I set up used Mozilla FF installing several addons, then i came here to userlogos and posted that long post, I then came of web and closed system down, reloaded Ubuntu and all my addons had vanished.
On this setup, I am logged in as jmarkybb and there are no Icons on desktop, but cant get a wireless conection.

Everything seems to be running smoothly, i.e. I can browse the web, not looked much further yet.
How can i find out if I screwed my system, or not, or is the fact its running says that everything is fine?
How can I get Windows Vista out of "Recovered"?
How can I find out if Vista is unsettled, if at all it is?
