Launchy in Search Bar - Question for Telega/Kaelri

I am sort of curious.
Learnt about the Windows application Launchy only yesterday from Kaelri here.
And well I just wondered if it might be possible as an option to somehow launch a Launchy application from the Fast Dial Search Bar.
Or rather open a Windows application via Launchy from the Search Bar.
This would enable Fast Dial Users to possibly access directly their favourite Windows program directly from Fast Dial.
---
I also see that there is a Firefox Extension also called Launchy.
Maybe this would be easier for Fast Dial to run than the Windows application.
---
I suppose I was wondering at the most simple, if it might be possible to toggle in the Fast Dial search window, from the present Search Applications with their appropriate Favicons to Launchy with the appropriate Favicon.
In other words it could simply be another Option in the Search Bar Window.
If that option is selected the Launchy Favicon would be visible. This would mean that Launchy was active.
I wonder if this might in any way be possible, or desireable
I have had a quick look at the Firefox Launchy, and it is immediately apparent that it could be improved upon for user customisation.

On further perousal it would seem that the Firefox Application Launchy is not very actively supported, but it is still already very useful to be able to open a Text editor in Firefox.

How do I get rid off those arrows on icons, get rid of text and box when hovering over icon?

@chiaroscuro
If you want something similar to Launchy for running firefox commands, I would recommend an extension named Devo that I use.
This new edit module isn't good at all!

A search bar in your browser would never be faster or more convenient to access than Launchy, which is always one hotkey away in any application.
If you're trying to do everything from one place, I think the ideal is the opposite - searching the Internet from Launchy.

I completely agree with you.

Thanks
I realise you were using the Windows Launchy
And you were based in Desktop.
The real Launchy I have not yet tried yet

Regarding Firefox Extension Launchy
I find it very handy for example to be able to examine Firefox Profile files in a Text editor while in Firefox
I guess what I find also great is being able to enter a Windows application without ever leaving Firefox.
This gives great flexibility.
Also useful is to able to go straight into Outlook Express or Internet Explorer from Firefox

Mmm OK
For me I suppose Firefox, or more particularly Fast Dial is sort or home.
From there one can access the world
-----
I would have thought myself that accessing the net through Windows Launchy would be a less intuitive matter than using Fast Dial, inspite of Launchy's legendary usefulness.
But you know the program so well.
Who am I to say ? :-)
