i could make it optional...but then it would be "closed".. meaning one would have to click "Effects" lo slide the options open.
hope that not too confusing of an explanation..

Agreed. While I like it I realize not everyone does. While it makes it easier to search for some of the time, it also makes it harder for the submitter.

Re: What do you think of the "Effects" section when submitting..
Submitted by macleod.mac on Sat, 04/18/2009 - 06:56I only see a point for 'iPhone App Style' but that was fine in 'Theme'.
But that's just me =]

Submitted by sjdvda on Sat, 04/18/2009 - 07:49I think it's quite unnecessary. I always forget to check anything except "reflection", even if the logo has a glow, bevel, etc...
effects
Submitted by ingalls on Sat, 04/18/2009 - 07:58I like it because it allows me to quickly check off what effects i added without me having to say "With glow gloss and reflection"

Submitted by macleod.mac on Sun, 04/19/2009 - 07:34I would prefer if it were optional, as currently you can't submit without specifying.

Submitted by ingalls on Sun, 04/19/2009 - 07:37I wouldn't mind it being optional either.
That way i can still use it but people who don't want to, don't have to.

What do you think of the "Effects" section
Submitted by spaljeni on Sat, 09/05/2009 - 17:52Yep, I dont see the point of this section.
The way I see it there are three types of logos: transparent, opaque and iphone style.
Reflection has become a standard on userlogos anyway.
