TinEye page: Tineye
TinEye is super simple to use. In fact, I doubt you'd even need a tutorial to use it.
But just in case, here's one for you 
.
1. Go to Tineye.com in your browser.
2. Click on "Upload Image".
Select a picture.
3. Let it do stuff.
4. It will show you a page of results:
5. When you click on the picture, a preview will pop up.
You can click "Toggle" to overlay your uploaded picture.
You can also click the URLs provided to find the picture.

Although rather outdated.
TinEye not the Extension and TinEye the Firefox Plugin (Extension) are, as you are probably aware, all part of the same TinEye package.
The plugin seems unbelievably useful.
Wish there was an option to allow one to open in a New Tab as well as a Background Tab.
Fortunately it has a number of sort options for searches, although these can't be saved I don't think.
Its database is growing.
When TinEye has a much larger database it will in many ways be much more useful for image based users than Google.
It is encouraging to see that it has already a number of images from this site so the crawlers have been busy.
