First off, thx for your continued work on Simplemail!

Now, a few days ago I had FF upgraded to v.32 and had some problems. I searched and saw that new versions are available! Sure enough, I added v.2.86.7 and started FF. Everything was crawling and stuttering! So, I thought let's try the previous version and the same happened. And so on until I reached back to 2.86.3 which seems like the latest build without the slowdown problem. I've tried it on safe mode, same happens. I disabled most of my extensions, no change. I'll disable everything, try again and report back, but it doesn't look likely as the remaining extensions are pretty harmless looking, but you never know! I'll also try on a clean FF on a clean OS and see what happens. Cheers!
