Very disappointing

Such a shame, I really thought that this Add-on was going to be something good. Turns out that it is unsupported, some parts like 'New messages' and 'Replies' simply don't work, and other parts have simply been overlooked or not bothered with at the design stage. I shall check back from time to time to see if anyone has done any further work on the program, I hope that someone does because it would be such a shame to see all the good work done so far go to waste

Well, you are right, in the meantime this became a real nuisance, NO PROGRESS whatsoever anymore...
V 2.86.7 seems to be the last one...

Maybe, one could get an answer about any future plans, or where to find the sources?

Please TechnalXS, kindly give us a sign of your activities...

TechnalXS has unfortunately not been seen on this site for some time (see Last Active in Profile)
His original role as co-developer of Simple Mail was very much appreciated

All efforts to try to and re-establish contact with XS have met so far with no respose

Using Simple Mail in Pale Moon in a straightforward manner seems to work well
It is a great Extension

I just wonder, if a contact to 'telega' would help in any way (but maybe you tried that alredy)?

I see you have been a user for only four hours
How come not earlier ?

The developer support situation at the moment is somewhat unclear.

All that I do myself is to run Pale Moon in Windows 7

This allows me to run Fast Dial and Simple Mail for the time being without any obvious problems

If you go to telega's or Technal's profile you will be able to see under Last Active when either was last on this site

Thanks for your reply.
I was not active because I had (and have) no technical problems using Simplemail (now on Lubuntu 15.10, Firefox 41.0.2.) - and I could not provide help to anyone, because I have hardly any programming skills.

I actually just checked once in a while as a guest, how developing of Simplemail will continue, because I really like it a lot.
However, I hope, Simplemail will be with us for years to come...

Yes, if one uses Simple Mail all the time, as I do too, one really wants it to continue being usable into the forseeable future.
