I have been using Thunderbird for some time and discovered this--a great idea, and works well for me so far. However I have noticed that the search function is weak. When I do a search in Thunderbird it catches every occurrence of a word/name in the address line of a message. In Simple Mail the same search through the same messages produces very different and patchy results. Is there any hope of improving this? I was hoping to switch completely, but I rely heavily on a solid search function.
