I understand your reasoning, but please give this matter some reflection.

Are you sure that you wish to have the same Firefox Profile at work and at home.

And in FD 2 all the settings are stored in Bookmarks.
Maybe you have different Bookmarks at work from at Home.

If you load your home Bookmarks into your work Machine then all your work Bookmarks will be gone.

So please give this some thought before you go ahead with this idea.
