Saving my FD

Ok am very new to this and have a few questions that i hope ypu can help with.
1. how do i save my FD page? have been adding links and is working fine, but when i closed down FF then restart my link no longer apear. i have a few that have saved but no idea how i managed this.
Think i will start with this 1 as the rest of my questions become pointless without this one being solved.
not to sure what version i am using if you need this info you will have to tell me where to find it.
hope someone can help with this i

It would be interesting to know which version you are running
In Firefox go Tools/Addons and you should be able to read off which Fast Dial Version you are running

Submitted by Lynx5.0 on Tue, 10/28/2008 - 19:50Thanks. got that spent awhile setting up a new page,saved my pages in bookmarks, moved them to the fast dail folder in bookedmarks all seemed to being going well closed down my FD link opened it back up. looked like it had saved but when i closed down FF then opened that back up again it was gone no new pages in FD no saved data in bookmarks back to where i had started.
am i running version 2.14

I am not really clear what is happening.
You set up your Fast Dial Root Folder.
You have made a number of cells.
When you make these cells they are visible ?
If you close Firefox and reopen Fast Dial there are no longer any cells in you Root Folder.
Is that what you are saying ?
Maybe reloading current page in Firefox, while you are the Fast Dial Folder might make your cells appear.
But this should not be necessary.

No idea what this could be caused by.
Might be worth seeing if you can get Fast Dial working in a new Profile.

Are you starting your Fast Dial Page from nothing ?
If you are you could try delete fast dial folder in Bookmarks, uninstall Fast Dial. Restart Firefox.
Re-install v2.14 and see if that cures your woes.
