I have been having problems with my folders in Fast Dial, when I try to open them nothing happens

Are you using Version 2.11

Please try:

Uninstalling Fast Dial
Restarting Firefox
Re-installing Fast Dial
Restart Firefox

Here is another thing, if I make a new folder, it works fine the first time i use it, then it stops working.

Would it be possible to clarify when this problem first started.

Was it after installing a new Version of Fast Dial ?
Have you got Speed Dial also installed on your machine ?

Maybe the best would be first
to make a backup copy of your Firefox Bookmarks

Please then have a look at:

Using the error console

and report if you are getting any errors.

You could also try creating a new Firefox profile and see if Fast Dial 2.11 works there.

I tried the error console but got no errors, i also tried a new profile but I had the same problem as before
Also i don't have speed dial installed

Please could you help clarify what you mean exactly.
If for example you centre click on the Fast Dial Toolbar button what happens.

Does Fast Dial open ?
What do you see ?

And what do you mean exactly by the folder stops working.
Do you mean you find that a folder has not been created.
Or that when you open the folder there are empty cells.
Or that when you click on a cell it does not dial

Why don't you left-click on a folder?
"Open" item in context menu is working as "Open in a background tab".
BTW, I'm going to remove this menu item at all, because you can always use Ctrl+rightclick to bring up Firefox context menu.
