A number of users have reported having this problem.
If you refresh a blurry cell does it make any difference ?
-----------------------------------------------
Please have a look at the following post and see if it relates in any way to your problem.
There is also another post on the same question here
------------------------------------------------
It is also recommended that you install Fast Dial Version 2.11 from here as it resolves a few problems in Version 2.9.
-------------------------------------------------
If none of the above helps resolve your question please let us know so the question can be further looked into...
Thank you.

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Sat, 09/20/2008 - 05:20Installed 2.11, and issue of blurry thumbnails still remains.
Image thumbnails set in previous versions are crisp.
Using the same thumbnail image in a new shortcut box , the image is extremely blurry.
Issue applies to all new thumbnails - custom images, downloaded images from FD, and automatic page screen shots.
Example below is of an image first set in prior version, and the very same image now set in the new version:
Java is set for scaling, and Opacity is set to 10.

Installed 2.11, and issue of blurry thumbnails still remains.
Thank you for your most helpful post and great pictures
1. Please could you confirm that refreshing a cell makes no difference
2. Did you go to the two links in my previous post
That is here and here
Did you follow Mafi0z's recommendations ?
Please can you confirm if they shed any light on this matter or not.

Please can you clarify what Version is the prior Version and which Version the New Version
Thanks

It would be very useful to clarify if this is a Fast Dial bug or not.

Made no difference.
Did you follow Mafi0z's recommendations ?
I did, and now the issue has been resolved. What is strange is that it only applies to cells that were blank in prior versions and subsequently filled with shortcuts in the newer version.
Thank you for excusing my ignorance and pointing out the post again.
Please can you clarify what Version is the prior Version and which Version the New Version
Original thumbnails and settings were created in 2.6(?), I believe. Issue occurred after downloading v2.8.
Again, thank you for the help.
@Anonymous (are you islascanarias ?)
No. I wouldn't be able to remember how to spell that name.

This is very useful information.
I see you mentioned this in your first post.
I am glad you clarified this fact, I had missed it.

OK
Fine
Now the issue has been resolved.
This is good news
Thanks for all the feedback
Very helpful posts

Submitted by telega on Sat, 09/20/2008 - 12:14It's not clear what caused the bug. If somebody else encounters it, please backup your bookmarks (menu Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks, Import And Backup > Backup) and send me the backup to telega gmail com.

If you have not yet sorted out this problem could you backup your bookmarks first and send it to telega
Thanks

@Anonymous
Do you think you might be able to recreate this bug and send telega your Bookmarks Backup File ?
--------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone else, please backup your bookmarks file first, before trying to solve this problem.
--------------------------------------------------------------
If anyone can send their bookmarks backup file, made when this problem is present, to telega, then there is a very good chance that this problem can be resolved.
Many thanks
Unhelpful auto-addition to URLs
Submitted by neonjohn (not verified) on Tue, 10/14/2008 - 11:21Since I'm not permitted to access the "report a bug" page, I'm doing it here.
Environment is FF 3.0.2,
FreeDial 2.11
I want to add an "about:config" entry to my Free Dial page. Unfortunately FreeDial helpfully adds slashes to make the url "about://config/" which obviously does not work.
Either removing this helpfulness or making it a check-box option would be very nice.
Thanks,
John
