Fast Dial (v4.6) not opening in new tab in Firefox Nightly (v25.0a1).

So yeah, as the title says.
Please note that it still does this even with
"browser.newtab.url"
set to
"chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html".

It just opens with a blank white page with the title being "New Tab".
Clicking the Fast Dial button next to the address bar works fine.

I have installed the Nightly version and see that sometimes "about:newtab" page opens instead of Fast Dial when opening a new tab. This looks like a Firefox bug or feature and can be fixed by setting "browser.newtab.preload" property to "false".

Same problem with FireFox 22.0 and Fast Dial 4.6
browser.newtab.preload = false don't solve the problem for me.

Edit : if I close the last tab then I have a blank page, FastDial don't show me any image. If I clic on the + for new tab then in this new tab all works fine.

Edit 2 : I have try to install the 4.9 version but nothing works :(
I have no image in any page even if I clic on + for new tab I have no image. with 4.9

I have re-install 4.6 and I found a solution for users of TabMixPlus
in about:config
search -> extensions.tabmix.replaceLastTabWithnewtab.url
replace the old value (about:newtab) with chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html

Now when I close my lest tab I have Fasdial and not a blank page :)

I have try to re-install 4.9 and if I make the 2 modification ("browser.newtab.preload" property to "false".) and the new one I have describe before then all works with TabMixPlus for me

Please try this Fast Dial Version and see if it resolves your problems

With this Version of Fast Dial I think you will find that it will not prove necessary to modify settings in Tab Mix Plus.

The two extensions should now work seamlessly together
