It's fine to have a logo that's on a non-transparent background, as long as it looks alright. As for gmacri's reflection, ir requires a certain taste, agreed, but it's not that bad in terms of image quality.

amazon again - agreed. bad cutting and there are also at least 5 other amazon logos
as for the others - I don't like non-transparent logos so... agreed
