I have a dead pixel, what do I do, will I get any more, how do they happen, how do I stop getting them?

Submitted by scouseboy on Wed, 11/12/2008 - 10:50I've seen dead pixels brought back a bit of gentle massage, even if only temporarily.
Gently rub the screen around the dead pixel with clean fingertip in a circular motion - dont press too hard. Might work, might not. No responsibility taken for further killage of pixels if too heavy-handed.
