NEW FAST DIAL!
undwight Thu, 08/20/2009 - 22:41
Everyone wants a fast dial, and i'm one of them. Better than speed dial because of its customizing features. I want more features! I have suggestions that can give fastdial more effecient and convenient look and if not the best functions anyone will surely like.
Let me post a photo of what I want FastDial to become.
note: the "text only" is just a filler
- I want groupings of dials.
Dials in grouped boxes for easy navigation
- bookmark style
we want an organized bookmark of our favorite sites
- grouping styles
users can choose vertical or horizontal styles according to preference
-customizability (nosuch word)
Icons only or bigger customized icons can be stored in boxes. we really want to pimp our dials
Thanks hope these suggestions help.

Submitted by chiaroscuro on Fri, 08/21/2009 - 07:10I was immediately attracted to Fast Dial because of it's predominantly Visual nature.
It got away from the order and hierarchical structure of lists, which had previously dominated Bookmarks classification.
With the use of folders/groups in Fast Dial, it was further possible to classify without using a word based structure.
I imagine that preferences of this kind are determined by the individual's relationship to experience.
Many thanks

Submitted by staggerlee on Sat, 08/22/2009 - 18:32I organise my fastdial logos roughly in groups, one row for communication, one row for shopping, one for file storage/sharing.
This idea looks to strengthen that kind of organisation. It's pretty neat.
