How to change background image in Fast Dial?

Right click on Fast Dial Page

Go
Preferences/Appearance/Page

Go to Image

Browse for Background image on your Hard Disk by clicking on the dotted portion.

Select background image from hard disk

Close.

Should work.

can't get the carbon fiber image to work (from this site)...others work nicely...

Strange, works for me...

Have you introduced a space into the image file name ??

Please describe what is happening your end.
Please include link to background image.

go to preferenes -> appearance ->page -> image -> and select a picture. has always worked for me

the "back" inputbox is to select an image to display as a "back" link if you have folders on your fastdial page

also it might help if you select an image from your hard drive, not an url. or opposite.
depends on what OS youre using. (xp, vista, 7 im not sure about, a lot of people complain about it)

I figured out why I couldn't put the specific image...it was named carbon fibre.jpg.....i renamed it to carbon_fibre.jpg and it worked in an instant :)

So it was a space in the file name ?

Is the file not a .PNG ?
