Submitted by zigzag on Thu, 03/26/2009 - 09:45well, yes, I suppose it is in a way.. but I'm not sure that necessarily reflects which logo is actually of the highest quality, but more likely that which is most used, and therefore is rated highest, but that still doesn't mean its the "best". Do you see what I mean?

It's not really fair that people just create the biggest sites on the internet and get high ratings for them. Not that I'm complaining, I'm just saying, or rather zigzag is saying, that a new contest should be conducted where everybody does a logo for a certain thing, and not multiple "things." If you're confused right now, sorry.

Have to say I was rather interested by zigzag's suggestion of a Site Logo Contest, which could now involve a whole group of new UL users.
I sort of welcomed the idea.
I think it would be good to be able to work on clearing the Logo backlog first and then we could possibly set something up.
I don't know how many users use BlueMarine and how many use Deco.
Maybe the majority of users use Deco.
I wonder if there might be a way of for example offering either of those two Themes with an alternative Logo.
In that way each could chose his own without destroying the old.
Seems a shame to turn this suggestion down to me.
