How to "make [the logo] so that it looks like a box and it's edges fade" in GIMP

What you need:
GIMP
A logo

1. Open the logo in GIMP.
[Picture deleted]
2. Under the Filter menu, open the Decor subcategory and click on Add Bevel.
[Picture deleted]
3. In the dialog box that opens, uncheck "Work on copy" and click OK.
[Pictures deleted]
4. Wasn't that easy?
