Logo sizing in 2.22b

Is there any way to make the page logos an exact size? In previous versions, I was able to force the images to display at 210x210 by making them fixed and forcing the vertical size to be 210. It allowed the icons I created specifically for that size to be sharp and crisp...but with 2.22b, I cant seem to get the same sizing of my logos.
Can anyone provide some insight to accomplishing this, or has FD changed and I need to redo my logos?

Correct, I was not able to force 210x210. I was, however, able to make 210x210 images display nicely by setting the width to 280 (which changed the height to 210). I guess from there, it would display the image centered with padding on the sides? I dont know how the internals of this extension work...
Either way, when this was done, it would result in very crisp logos.
Whatever happened in 2.22b, this "feature" seems to have changed? Was it never designed to operate in a way so that someone could customize FD to this degree?

I think you will find that you can still enter the value manually in 2.22b

However, the end result did not appear to be the same. It was, as you saw in my previous screenshots, a blurred image instead of a sharp one.
What I'm trying to get at is...what changed, and how can I get sharp icons back? Is there a way to do so without recreating all my icons at a different size?

I would be interested to learn of your answer to telega's question
Did you set "Use Java" option in these versions? It's known to produce better image quality.
Do you happen to remember if you were using Java scaling previously ?
There is a possibility that Java may make a return.
Many thanks

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Wed, 01/21/2009 - 09:16I rolled back to FD 2.11, so now I can compare my settings:
Size: 280x210 fixed, Java scaling is turned OFF.
This results in my logos being nice and sharp. Here is the result: FD 2.11 Crisp

Thanks
Good also to see Fast Dial users who care enough to describe problems well.
And who are also most courteous. :-)
I am also quite interested to get to the bottom of this.
Many thanks

Could you send me one of your images that gets blurried to "telega gmail com"? I will try it on both 2.11 and 2.22 and will try to find out what has changed.
