but I only signed up to find out why UserLogos shows up when I right click, instead of Google Search, which I'd prefer. Frankly, I have no idea what UserLogos is about. I can't even tell from wandering around here looking.

Are you saying your default Search engine has become Userlogos when it used to be Google ?
Please click on the search engine favicon and choose the search engine of your choice, either in Firefox or in Fast Dial
Or do you mean something else ??

What are the logos used for?
They are used by the users of Fast Dial as Logos for their different Cells.
Do you not have the Extension Fast Dial in your Firefox ?
