Re: Thumbnail-specific background color
Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Sun, 01/11/2009 - 21:49I second that. I have a logo that can't be read in a black background but all my other thumbnails look cool in black. I guess I could just remember where it is on my FD homepage but what's the point of that?

Re: Thumbnail-specific background color
Submitted by heathsias (not verified) on Tue, 01/13/2009 - 01:00the question is why was the feature removed in the first place? we can all open image editors and do it manually but since it was included in earlier releases and worked fine, removing it seems a little de-evolutionary. thanks for the quick reply though.

Wondering the point of removing this option too especially when no background color could possibly work for every thumbnail...

Re: Thumbnail-specific background color
Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on Sun, 01/18/2009 - 21:40I upgraded from an older version of Fast Dial and am disappointed this feature was removed!
Everything was so easy with the ability to select background colours for each thumbnail...
Sad to see more features added, when the old version was perfect - and important features removed :(
Here's hoping it will get put back in
Re: Thumbnail-specific background color
Submitted by Mafia_Penguin on Sun, 01/18/2009 - 21:45@telega:
I was setting Fast Dial up for a friend, and I was able to find logos for all the sites (phew!), but all but one looked good on black.
The other one looked good on white.
I wanted, because of that, to set it up in a checkerboard.
So, Here's hoping it will get put back in (I agree!).

Can we get it just as it was before? So not just a colour swatch, but more importantly, be able to use HTML colour codes? 90% of the time, the background colour needed will not be one of the 'regular' colours on the swatch - the old version was great in that you could pick any colour by using HTML colour codes!
