I sought permission from Valacar before uploading this Logo.
---
The Logo originates from the wonderful Stylish Style
Based on these two Styles
Google Web Search - dark gray redesign (Vc)
and the accompanying Logo
Google Web Search - gray logo replacement (vC)
This is the effect of the Style on the Google Page (part of the whole page)
---
My contribution was simply to derive an image from the base64 code of the original Style and upload here.
---
Thank you Valacar for your this wonderful piece of work, and also for the permission for us to use your image in a Logo.
---
There is a reflection, but it will not be apparent if you use full black as a background color.
A color around #202020 shows the reflection just fine.

I am glad you like it.
I hope users who use Valacar's Styles may choose to use it.
I see this one is not in your huge Google Logo collection. :-)

@chiaroscuro
Is this the first logo you've uploaded here, or am I wrong?

Thanks for your vote.
In fact this is the second.
But this one like the other one is "borrowed" really as I had nothing to do with their creation.
Just used them myself and thought others might like to use as well.
Many thanks
