Short Cut Key Help

I just installed Fast Dial and think it's a great idea
But is there away to cancel a button that I assigned as a short cut key to activate fast dial.
I tried to assign f5 as my shortcut key, clicking the shortcut key slot, and typing f5. I subsequently typed "enter" just as I would after typing a google search.
Now whenever I typed "enter" be it when I'm typing a website in the address bar, or when I'm trying to log on facebook, it directs me to the fast dial page.
I tried assigning the shortcut key to another button (being f6), and now all f5, f6 and "enter" direct me to fast dial
this is very inconvenient, since I dont want "enter" to direct me to fast dial.
I tried clicking default, but it's not working even when i restart firefox
Please help, i just want to cancel "enter" as a shortcut key

then give fast dial a crazy shortcut key combo... for example, press the following all at the same time:
CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + Z
then let go of the keys. it should set that as your shortcut to FD... now hit "close" on FD preferences and restart firefox

Have you tried this ?
Shame there is not an easy way to clear this, by clicking on default settings or something.
I could not find this setting in about:config, suggesting that it is hidden in Bookmarks somehwhere.
