Launchy Stuff

Cant find where to put copy and pasted text.
You need first to paste that text you got from the xml generator into a Text editor (Notepad for example) and then "save as" the file into the Chrome Folder.
Be careful not to "save as" launchy.xml.txt
So have file types selected as "All" rather than as "Text" when you "save as" the file.
---
To know where to save the text file launchy.xml:
Click on Launchy Icon/Options and then Launchy.xml.
That gives you the exact location of the Chrome Folder.
---
Once you have saved the file, it is much easier to make further edits to the file in situ using Notepad in Launchy.
Good luck

It seems you have posted the file in the possibly the right Folder.
It is for you to check.
Any chance you could post the contents of the file.
Please select in Launchy Options
Show extended Debug information...
Then go to the Error Console under Java you can see if Launchy has loaded your launchy.xml correctly.
Have you tried rebooting Firefox and then opening Launchy to see if your .xml file has funtioned ?
I saw a report that Launchy does not work on Vista, but let us persevere.

So you have now got Launchy running and showing Notepad.
But is Launchy reading your launchy.xml file or not ?

Re: Launchy Stuff
Submitted by chiaroscuro on Sun, 11/16/2008 - 13:34you need to find the part where launchy is looking for the launchy.xml file.
see here:
Can't you make your error console full screen ?
Make it easier to read.
Maybe clear the console
And restart Firefox and let's see what happens
You had a strange error message in there.
