Every time I've tried to upgrade to the newer versions something else is broken. This last time it duplicated all the links and started deleting items randomly - deleted the return button (top left) to the prior fd menu. I love the program makes life easier, but 2.x is just not stable. It would be nice to have the bookmarks feature but I do have to work during the day.
Its also quite nice that I have the same thing on my desktop, on my laptop, and on an Ubuntu machine at home.
I will not give up, I will keep investigating the newer versions until it works.
I can always put 1.9 back on.

Yes there were great advantages in Version 1.x
When users upgraded there was never a problem.

Yes it seems now a common occurence that users upgrading either from Version 1.x and even from previous Versions of FD 2.0 find that their previous FD is then all messed up.
I agree that it would be most welcome to have an FD Version that did not exhibit this random erratic and destructive behaviour.

Version 2.14 is an interesting upgrade, should you wish to give it a try.
