How do You surf the web?
I use a Logitech Cordless Optical Trackman and a Logitech MX Revolution, On a Packard Bell, Limited Edition 2Gig 150gb 12" White Laptop, absolutely love it to bits.
I was an Opers fan for nigh on 8 years, it just blew me away, with no pop ups, tabbed browsing, across all my platforms, Psion Series 3, 3a, 5, 5MX, SE P800, SE P900, SE K750i, SE K800i, SE W960i, DS, PSP, soon to be Psion Series 7 Netbook.
Mozilla Firefox just makes it an outstanding machine, can not bang on about it enough to my mates how superb this browser is, when/if FF goes Multiplatform Windows IE will be blown out of the water.

i use a crappy HP keyboard and mouse - going to get the logitech mx3200 combo soon.
Using a desktop - 2gb, 1.6TB :-D , 17", 8800GT
was an IE user long long ago, then switched to firefox and never looked back
tried Opera a while back, popups and ads all over (doesnt have AdBlock Plus)
by multiplatform do u mean PDAs, smartphones, etc, or.. Linux, Windows, Mac?
because i believe FF3 supports the 3 OSes, not sure bout the devices though

Does not matter what machine your running just as long as it works
The only thing that really does matter is why Fast Dial 2.x can't upgrade properly from Fast Dial 1.x !
Once we have a bug free edition of Fast Dial 2.x with a working layout that leaves one in control of how to set it up, then the rest is of no importance.
Can you really still remember IE ?

a bug free fd would be great.
although, i dont experience any bugs currently, i know severals ways fd can be improved, i only wish there was a very easy way for all of us active users of UL to compile a list of hated vs needed features
IE - yes i can still remember that piece of trash, lol. i no longer can call it a browser.

I have never used a Mac before, I believe they are something else, i.e. WOW!
If I have a windfall, I will treat myself to an Air.

Submitted by sjdvda on Thu, 10/16/2008 - 18:24I've tried almost almost all browsers out there and finally settled for Firefox as my main browser (I can't live witbout my 120 Add Ons! :P) and Safari as my secondary browser on my Vista Home Premium HP Pavilion Elite Desktop.
Mobile Browser: Safari on my iPhone
The horrible PSP web browser
Keyboard: Crappy HP Keyboard (like mafi0z)
Mouse: Logitech G5
4GB RAM
nVidia 8800 GT
Hopefully I'll get an iMac next year as I'm a big Apple fan (should've guessed that from my picture :P). I've used Mac OS X Leopard and I can't wait to get rid of the buggy, slow Win Vista!
Extensions like AdBlock, Sxipper, Fast Dial are the reason why I'm still using FF after trying Opera, Google Chrome, Flock, Avant, etc...

I use google chrome when I'm looking something up quickly, but when I do more than that, I use FF!

Submitted by macleod.mac on Wed, 11/12/2008 - 10:46As chiaroscuro said, it doesn't really matter, especially as jmarkybb asked "how do you surf the web"... Doesn't take a superb machine to do that.
Anyhow, I've just upgraded to:
Crappy Dell keyboard and mouse.
15.4" original LCD (i.e. retro flat screen but two inches thick!)
Asus Barebones Kit
AMD Athlon X2 2.9GHz Dual Core Processor
4GB RAM (only shows 2.5.GB though as I'm running 32bit XP Pro)
820GB Hard Drive
512MB 8600GT
I've been a Firefox fan since about 1.6 and it's just awesome. So customizable. Can't stand Opera to be honest, though used to use Opera Mini on my SE W810i. That was amazing.
RE: Macs, I'm with mafi0z. I just can't stand the OS and the overpricedness. In no way am I saying they're bad, but I was brought up on Windows. Having said that, I also hate Vista. XP for life. Lol.

Re: How do You surf the web?
Submitted by Mafia_Penguin on Sun, 06/21/2009 - 21:49I recently upgraded to a nice Acer laptop and put an old HDD lying around into the second bay. Now I triple boot Ubuntu (Wubi on the Vista partition), Vista, and Windows 7 on the second drive. It has a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 (http://ati.amd.com/products/mobilityradeonhd3600/specs.html) and 4GB of RAM, and it's using 64bit of Windows 7 and Vista. It has a 2.20GHz AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile ZM-82, and I get a 4.7 on my Windows Experience rating in Windows 7.
