lost all my fast dial info with firefox update

I hope someone can help me. I had a full plate of fast dial icons and now they'er gone.
An "Old Firefox Data" folder is now on my desktop but I have no idea what to do with it.

I also updated yesterday and everything stayed ok, so something must have bugged out for you during update..
Are you missing all the fast dial bookmarks or just the logos/pictures for your dials?

Can you list whats inside "Old Firefox Data" folder? If it contains folder structure that looks like: "...Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\..." get inside "default" profile and copy "fastdial" folder to the location "C:\Users\xxxxxUsername\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxx.default". This will hopefully get you back your theme and logos that you had previously..

If you're missing your bookmarks, in Firefox press Ctrl+Shift+B, then "Import and Backup" -> "Restore", now you can choose last backuped bookmarks. If there is none, go to "Choose File" and browse into your "Old Firefox Data" and search for folder "Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\bookmarkbackups". Now choose the latest one.

I use Moz Backup
http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/
for firefox and thunderbird. save all your settings to a file which you can restore to the original device or another device. great tool. i too lost fastdial but now with mozbackup no more worries. just be sure to back up fairly regularly. will also backup the custom themes pics.
