Quotation Marks

Just noticed that when I import an email with quotations, like:
If the above is a ‘yes,’ why...
turns into:
If the above is a ?yes,? why...
I don’t think they sent that way originally, but I see them after export/import. Is it just me or is it SM?

So it has nothing to do with import/export, it happens just by sending something from Simple Mail. Having my email altered on the way out is unacceptable....

Submitted by jefboyardee on Wed, 12/04/2013 - 22:20Sorry, had to wander off to tbird because of that. Just came back and tried again, still funky. It even happens if I email myself. Wish I had a clue why mine does this and yours doesn’t, because, as I’ve said, I’d rather use Simple Mail.

I googled the simplest of simple solutions: I just turned off "smarten quotes" in Spell Catcher and voila! My fault again, indirectly.
