simple mail 2.85 / visibility of attached pieces depending on recipients mail client ?

Hi,
The following occured today with version 2.85.
It also occasionaly occured sooner using earkier Simple Mail versions.
I regularly sent mail with attachments.
Today, i sent a mail with an attached 300K pdf file. Simple Mail log reports all sent OK.
I also received the same mail with attachment that i have sent to me as Cci for cross-check.
The recipient mailed me «she did not received the attachment».
I phoned her to check the received mail. Nothing attached according to her.
I had to resend the attached piece after conversion to image format and inserting the pages as image.
She told me using some Outlook version mail client.
Another regular recipient using Outlook11 does not have problem to find pdf attached pieces sent from Simple Mail.
I remain a bit puzzled about the confidence in attached pieces reception by recipients.

in addition to my previuos post:
I got some additional infos from the above mentionned recipient: she uses Outlook 2010.
The attached 300K pdf files name does not display into the «pièces jointes» box, although it was actually sent (*)
So that recipient cannot see it.
(*) i received it to my mail adress with the attached piece.

i don't think this a bug from Simplemail.
According to this thread :
PDF Attachments not seen by some recipients of OUTLOOK 2010 emails?
may be the exchange server of your "recipient" is not up to date or may be your "recipient" is under MAC or .....
