Fast Dial not compatible with Firefox Mobile?

Hi,
When I try to install Fast Dial on Firefox Mobile (Fennec) 15.0.1, I am allowed to download the addon (i.e. it does not claim to be incompatible with Mobile), but when I try to install it, I get a pop-up 'Install Failed'. Is Fast Dial compatible with Firefox Mobile? If it is, I seem to have found a bug :). If it isn't, then shouldn't addons.mozilla.org have blocked my installation attempt (i.e. shown a message 'unfortunately this add-on is not compatible' instead of showing the download button for the addon)?

Where as a matter of curiosity did you download your version of Fast Dial ?
Or to put the question another way, where do users of Firefox mobile usually download their extensions ?

On my searches for Fast Dial for fennec, I do not find.

When visited in Fennec, it says "firefox mobile" at the top of the page, which leads me to believe that I've been redirected to the mobile version of addons.mozilla.org. Is this not the case?

My impression is that all extensions downloaded from the link which includes the name Firefox are extensions that made to run in Firefox
If you go to other applications which is top of the page right you will see that there are alternative applications
There you have a choice
SeaMonkey
Thunderbird
Mobile
If you click on mobile it takes you to this page

Do you not think that Mobile is the suitable page for you ?
