The problem is the "Search Box" in Fast Dial does not appear.

Fast Dial 2.22b was the last Fast Dial Version with a working search box (works in Firexfox 3.*)

version 2.23b1 offerred multiple search boxes but was never finalised and search never worked in this version

all more recent versions of Fast Dial have been based on 2.23b1, so search has not worked in Fast Dial since 2.22b

I realise of course that it is not the same, but you could put your second search facility as the URL of a cell.
Or course this is is not what you wanted

There is nothing else really I can offer you until a new fully upto date version of fast dial is made available

Sometimes I do go and run 2.22b in 3.6.28 just to have the search
There is even a style on the site here to make the search box look good !

It would certainly be good to have search again after all this time..
