Fast-Dial as Your Homepage

Just wondering if there were any potential updates working on making the Fast-Dial page your home page. A very similar program that does offer similar features as Fast-Dial is completely lacking good features.
When I goto my home page, it would be nice to see all my sites I've saved on Fast-Dial than having to click on another icon. Its way more convenient and it would seem to be a no brainer.

Go Firefox/Tools/Options/Main
"when firefox starts: select
show my home page
For home page enter
about:blank
If you simply want to have Fast Dial on Firefox bootup
you can enter
When firefox starts:
select
show a blank page.
Firefox will then open in Fast Dial.
With such an arrangement, one can have for example google as one's home page by entering google.com in the home page field.
Fast Dial has worked this way for some time.
In addition if you have the fast dial icon on the toolbar you can click on that to access Fast Dial.

Another possibility is to have several tabs that you would like to open when Firefox does. Have FastDial first,
Then Go Firefox/Tools/Options/Main.
All the Tabs will be shown. Select Use Current Pages.
Next time Firefox opens all those tabs will open with Fast Dial the first
