i've added bing.com as a bookmark, but i never see the preview of the site. could this be because the background on the site loads shortly after the page does?
i've figured it out. i set the connection speed to medium.
however i have noticed one more thing. the previews are not updating when i open ff for first time (not new tab). this use to happen automatically now i need to manually refresh all. this worked before i upgraded to 2.23b1

I am not very conversant with this function.
Have you set the cells with Preview enabled, to also autorefresh ?
That is in Properties/Advanced.
I would have presumed that the Preview Image would also be refreshed at the same time.
Please let me know what your settings are.
What was the previous Version you were using, 2.22b ?

If you want that option you need to enable.
Or are you calling preview simply the thumbnail image of the web page ?
If so are you saying that cell autorefresh in Version 2.23b1 does not work ?

Is this a problem with only one site, or with all ?
For me bing.com refreshes just fine.
autorefresh also seems to be working fine.
What is the site that you are using to test autorefresh ?
Please create new Firefox Profile and load only Fast Dial there and check if auto-refresh works
