well, heres the deal :
loaded the logo from the original page into Fireworks
cutted it with the marquee tool ( edge: feather )
copy-pasted the result it, set it "to back" and changed the HSL to make it black ( to fill out the gaps a bit )
added a crimson glow to the original logo
the rest is group, copy-paste... flatten selection ( one trick I learned so the glow does not mess up the reflection ) flip vertically and add vector mask to itt
and that was it :D

I'm not satisfied with the result, but I consider the logo as "usable"
