Did you restore an earlier uncorrupted backup of Bookmarks ?
Please could you try to be as specific as possible.
Some users faced with a blank page have gone to Preferences/Appearance/Thumbnails and have altered opacity value to 10
If opacity value is low the thumbnails will be invisible
Should I download the xpi-file? But how to copy it to add-on-menu?
To download an xpi file see here
Mafi0z Version of 2.23b1 here has the maxversion only altered.
Are you aware of that ?
You could certainly try loading it.
And then restoring an earlier Backup of your Bookmarks
Please let me know the result.
Many thanks

apologies missed your earlier post
I´m not sure where to create the FastDial-folder
Go to Bookmarks/Organise Bookmarks/Bookmarks Menu and create in Bookmarks Menu
I have to say I don't understand why this is necessary as an earlier Backup Version of Bookmarks should logically include a Fast Dial Folder
Please let me know how you get on.
We need to get you going again :-)
Many thanks

Thanks for the feedback
reloaded my bookmarks.
Was this from an earlier (pre 3.5) restore ?
Are there any bookmarks visible in your Fast Dial Folder
Go Bookmarks/Organise Bookmarks/Bookmarks Menu and click on the Fast Dial Folder.
If your bookmarks are there
Try going to Preferences/Appearance/Thumbnails and altering the Opacity settings to 10.
Many thanks

Think like a grandfather. If I am required to save a .ineverheardof file, I
am barred from participating without detailed instructions.
1. "export" or "back up" file from ffx 3.5?
2. will I, or is the probability less than 100% lose my bookmarks? I asses risk.

Not too clear about your questions
If you load the extension FEBE you can use this to backup your present Full Profile.
If at any point you wish to return to your present profile you can use FEBE to restore your full Profile Backup and you will be back where you started.
So you should not lose anything.
The export and backup of Bookmarks only;
Firefox automatically backs up Bookmarks in Firefox
Fast Dial information is stored in the Fast Dial Folder in Bookmarks.
The logic is that if you restore an earlier Version of Bookmarks (before you loaded FF 3.5) your bookmarks and Fast Dial Folder should return.
Any further questions please ask
Many thanks
