Fast Dial mod

Good day all.
Since I've got the new firefox 3.5 and we can now do more kewl stuff.
Try this with your fast dial install. I'm sure many will come up with more kewl things to do. Maybe I can help with coding and fixing things, who knows, but this is my first post, so we'll see what kinda time I have for this stuff.
Find the file fastdial.html in your firefox profile.
The line with a + at the begining is what I changed.
Find the line before it and then just type it in there.
FdDom.get("size").innerHTML = ".box {" +
"width: " + width + ";" +
"height: " + height + ";" +
"-moz-transform: skewY(-10deg);" +
"}";
This is just a simple transform, but it gives it a kewl 3d effect. I'm still messing with matrix transformations and getting the hang of it again... Been many years since Linear Algebra classes. :) I will no doubt add to this effect, and maybe even submit some code back to the fast dial creators.

I think you are referring to Line 130 in FastDial.html

Your code at the moment seems to simply skew the Fast Dial Logos at an angle of 10 degrees.
I see no cool 3d effect yet !
Found something about all this here
Needs to be viewed running FF 3.5 to see the cube effect.

Need to write some javascript that makes it look like it moves in 3D :)

Yes, a stationary (or revolving) cube effect would be interesting

Yes a flat plane that moves in 3d would be interesting, maybe not too fast though, could make one sea sick ! :-)

In the meanwhile there is this question of Fast Dial not running correctly in Firefox 3.5.
This needs sorting first, so we can enjoy your moving world in comfort !
