Hi message takes point away

I got a Private Message from someone (Motolani http://userlogos.org/user/4728), Tiled 'Hi' and it asked for help. I tried to reply to explain I am new too, but the sender does not accept Private Messages. I am new to this site and don't know what I am doing yet, so I deleted the message to find I had my only point removed! Why!? What is going on? I would like to move on with this site but if I am to lose points every time I earn one what's the point of remaining a member. I have blocked Private Messages now so I hope that will stop the problem.

In my experience one does not lose points for deleting a PM, so please no need to block PMs.
Your Blog post concerning Triacs was however removed, as it was deemed not relevant to this site.
As blog posts earn points you would have lost points on that Blog being removed.
For general Posts like this one you have just made please post in the Forums and not in the Blogs
