I think there are three levels here

1 can you read the thread
2 can you access the thread
3 can you post in the thread

Also can you start a thread

I think admin permissions is not effected

i have read your post before i logged in, so as a anonymous visitor i had no problems with reading it. i obviously replied with my username so that works, also i created post in admins forum with no problems, so i guess you're right, no problems with admin permissions.
you can lower me to a moderator level so we could test that, and later to a basic user level if you want?

after creating this new test user, i followed activation link in mail and got a bunch of error messages:

warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/c4a/public_html/userlogos/modules/user_permissions/user_permissions.module on line 202

the same messages appear when i try to access my profile and want to edit Account settings or Personal information.

editing the profile with test user account works now.
it seems you fixed it!

does this mean all permission errors for regular users are fixed, or just this specific one regarding editing personal information?

1air2philou has problems posting anything and even accessing logos (?).

Have you tried uploading a logo ?

try posing here or there, I can always delete if you ask me

Sounds like it is sorted though

It is good that you mentioned this issue as we were then able to examine.

The problem would have affected other users besides you.
