I followed the tutorial found on this site about the transparent logos but i missed something somewhere i guess, please take a look at what i end up with...

Download this file, open it in Photoshop, select all and then go to EDIT -> Define pattern. Save it with your own name ex. CF.

Now open a new file, choose paint bucket tool and the at the top, change from foreground to pattern. Now click the dropdown and choose the CF pattern. Fill the area and you have a nice Carbon Fibre background.
Now you can play with the levels to get it darker or lighter and then use the lighting filter to get the same effect that I have.
Just shout if you need more help.
