Is there any plan to create a FastDial for Chrome?

I'm not sure how everyone else feels but Firefox is just becoming way too slow and takes up too much resources for me. Don't get me wrong as I've been using Firefox for years and love the browser. But I find that Chrome is so much faster and takes up less resources on my system. The 'ONLY' reason I have stuck with Firefox for the past year is simply because of FastDial. With Chrome now surpassing Firefox in the number of users worldwide, I think it would be great for you to migrate/develop a FastDial extension for Chrome. SpeedDial simply isn't as good! :(

Re: Is there any plan to create a FastDial for Chrome?

In regards to your question:
Unfortunately, the main Fast Dial developer has hardly any time on his hands to make a new version for Chrome. He is busy developing a new
bug-free version for Firefox and he has other projects. Also, due to the very complex nature of the Fast Dial extension, it would be a very tedious
undertaking to port it for Chrome. I actually highly doubt it is even possible to port it to Chrome, due to it's inferior extension architecture. Like you, I
have been a Firefox user for many years, but I find Firefox faster than Chrome on my machine. Can I ask which version of Firefox you are using?
