No fast dial when i open new tab

The fast dial app doesn't open when i select a new tab. i have to press the fd icon in order for me to get fd in my new tab, it gets annoying since ive been used to doing this for so long. Can someone help me fix this?

What are you using to open new Tab
CTRL-T ?
Are you using the Firefox Extension Tab Mix Lite ?
Try disabling.
There are two settings in Fast Dial Preferences in Fast Dial 2.22b
Select Show Fast Dial in New Tabs for the opening of Fast Dial itself
Select open in (new tab) for the opening of Fast Dial cells in New Tabs when clicked on.
