I stopped using my hotmail address some one year ago and I dont remember my password. I am failing to retrieve the password because further instructions are being sent to the same email address. How do I go about it to change and get a new password

Finally found the problem:

try to remove the "java quick starter" addon.

I knew SimpleMail have problems with that addon. But I can't understand why it managed to work fine for months then, suddenly, it stopped working!
