TLS option in SimpleMail SMTP

I use SimpleMail and love it.
As MICROSOFT free hotmail last month, i tried to configure my hotmail account.
I can perfectly read my HOTMAIL mailbox (POP3,995,SSL), but i can't send message from this mailbox (SMTP,587,TLS).
As i had the same problem with ThunderBird i trick any parameter, and finaly i found :
You have to set the TLS option in the SMTP server, in place of the SSL option.
I know this 2 protocols are very similar but obviously HOTMAIL can see the difference.
So, can you make the SSL option compatible with the TLS protocol ?
Many thanks.
If anyone know how to configure YAHOO from SimpleMail tell me, i'd love to put away the webmail extension !!!

So I can configure YAHOO in SimpleMail or in ThunderBird without any WebMail extension now.
I only have the problem with sending messages from HOTMAIL because of the TLS protocole.
