Fastdial causes IE view to spawn two IE7 windows for one URL

When using Fastdial to access a URL that is set to open with IE view I get two IE7 windows opening with that URL.

When I type the URL manually in Firefox I only get one IE7 window so its definitely something to do with fastdial.

WINXPSP2, IE7, Firefox 3.0.3, IE view 1.4, Fastdial 2.9.
