that works for me
i was using Folder (capital F) and it wasnt working..
lowercase f works...

so when i user folder=1, i am in the bookmarks root

That was my error I posted with a capital F.

i just went to the error console again, and realized the f was lowercase in the error , so i gave it a shot

It would appear that my root Folder in FD 2.11 is accessible with:

of course:
chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html

but also
chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html?folder=20

It is this same address
chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html?folder=20
that causes FD 2.14 to display the root folder as well.

So setting the home page as
chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html?folder=20
works perfectly for me with FD 2.14

But this setting will possibly vary for each user.
For you it would seem that folder=1 works best ?

It would appear that:
chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html
causes the dreaded white page in FD 2.14 at the moment.

My Folder Values

Bookmarks Menu 2
Bookmarks Toolbar 3
History cells seems to have many different values all in 50s

Remain unclear as to what my folder 1 is.
It has no name in tab.
Have you any thoughts ?
I find there
Bookmarks Menu

And four folders
53,55,58 and 68
Each of these 4 folders has a History cell in it.
What do you have in Folder 1 ?

Get the impression in my setup folder 20 is the root.
Name in tab is Fast Dial
Includes cells that were in FD 2.11 Root.

Would be maybe useful to collate information on the Folder numbers in FD 2.14+ so that they can be referred to when creating links, unless of course they are different for each user. :-)

Maybe when telega is around he could let us know how we can access the folder numbers.

I can't get it to work. I'm staying on 2.11 for now!
I went to chrome://fastdial/content/fastdial.html?folder=20, but that led me to my bookmarks folder.
I couldn't find the "Fast Dial" folder, either.
I tried both folder=20 (it was my "Bookmarks" folder)
and folder=1 (It was a FD folder I made a few weeks ago and got rid of),
but neither of them was the normal Fast Dial
