Fast Dial 2.9 Issues

Just a couple of issues I've noticed with FD2.9.
My Bookmarks - not sure if it's anything to do with the upgrade, but when I went to My Bookmarks on UserLogos just now, there seems to be an error. The page is filled with what looks like red code with a big red error sign on the left hand side of the bookmarks and none of the bookmarks I had saved are useable.
Apply To All Folders - tried to apply my theme/background colours to all folders in FD options but it didn't work.
Add to Fast Dial in Context Menu - fantastic to see this feature back but I'm not sure if it's working properly. I added a couple of bookmarks using this option then had a look in FF Bookmarks to see if they were there. I couldn't see them in the FD Folder but when I looked in Recently Bookmarked they were there.
I much prefer this method of adding bookmarks, but wonder if you could take it a step further as in Speed Dial. Speed Dial as you probably know has two Toolbar Buttons - one which opens Speed Dial (I think you can actually select the Group you want to open) and another which (if I remember correctly) operates in the same manner as the context menu. If you want to add a bookmark, you can either -
Click on the Toolbar Button +sign which brings up a list of your Groups. Each Group in the drop down list has an arrow, so when you select which Group you want to add a bookmark to, a further drop down list appears beside the arrow and enables you to select which empty slot within that Group you want to add your bookmark to. This way you can either overwrite an existing bookmark or specify exactly which slot to add your bookmark to.

Right click on the tab which brings up the context menu, select add to Speed Dial and this gives you the same functionality as described above.
In FD at the moment, you can right click and select 'Add to Fast Dial', but you still have to go into FF Bookmarks to put it where you want it. (This was how I discovered the issue mentioned above - after I had added a bookmark or two this way, I went to see where they had been saved to as the only option available was to add to FD, so I was expecting to see them in the FD folder).

It is possible then that you may have a conflict with another extension.
Try disabling all your other Extensions in your Old Profile and see if Fast Dial works correctly.
If the problem remains see below:

I would ask you first to backup your Bookmarks from your previously non-working Profile.
And clearly mark this file as the problem file.
It's name should be places.sqlite

Have a read of
Migrating your Fast Dial Version 2.x Profile

1. The simplest I think would be to load your bookmarks folder into your new profile. And immediately delete your Fast Dial Folder in Bookmarks.
Restart. Make sure your Fast Dial is empty and start again from scratch to build up your Fast Dial again.
2. You could do the above, and not delete the Fast Dial Folder in Bookmarks, but the chances are that you will encounter the same problems as you had before.
3. If you were running Fast Dial Version 1.x before running Version 2.x then you could:
Load your bookmarks folder into your new profile.
And immediately delete your Fast Dial Folder in Bookmarks.
Restart. Make sure your Fast Dial is empty
Then you could look in your old Firefox Profile for a file called fastdial.sqlite.bak.
(if you find it please make a safety copy)
You could then copy that file into your new Firefox profile and rename it fastdial.sqlite.
Then restart Firefox and see if Fast Dial Version 2.11 can recover your previous FD Version 1.x settings

It might prove useful if you were able to send telega a copy of the non-working Bookmarks folder that you have saved.

1. Please could you backup your non-working bookmarks and send the file to telega
2. Try installing Version 2.11 from AMO.
3. If that does not work try uninstalling 2.11, restarting Firefox, re-intallsing Version 2.11 and then restarting.

The images of the pages constantly change the order where I originally set them up. This is frustating when you open fastdial in a new tab and have to spend time looking for the new locations because they have changed or sometimes don't even appear. In the previous version, there was no problem , if I had my home page and other links (pages) setup in the they would stay where at the location I originally added them in. (I run a grid of 12 ) now it takes more time to visually scan for the new location. I believe this defeats the whole idea "fastdial".
