thumbnails will not refresh with new images.

im not sure when this started to happen but im assuming it was when i upgraded to firefox 3.6.8 today.
when i right click on a fast dial thumbnail and hit refresh it will not fetch me a new thumbnail for that bookmark like it did before with no problems. I thought refreshing all of them would help me but now because of that i have no thumbnail images on my fast dial page. Just empty boxes that appear to be constantly "trying" to refresh but with no luck. Is this some sort of compatibility issue? If it is will there be a fix soon?

I think your Preferences must have got scrambled making the screenshot function get in a knot.

In retrospect I find this a little strange.
Because if you think about it, if Fast Dial is loaded into a new Profile, all the settings including Preferences would also have been set to default, so it should also have worked.

I've tried the suggestion to reset to default, restart (while even restarting the computer since it wasn't explicitly said to either restart firefox or restart windows) and then default settings again (Fast Dial, I'm also assuming, only).
Still won't refresh thumbnails.
It does this on two different computers but they share the same profile as a result of a backup with MozBackup.
Can't say exactly when it started happening, but it seems like it worked forever and then out of no where just stopped, can't say for certain when and if it was related to an update. Any help would be appreciated!!

I did say restart Firefox...
Set to defaults in Fast Dial Preferences ONLY and then restart Firefox only.
this should clear any preferences settings that may be corrupted.
Then reset your Preferences and restart Firefox
OK
There are too many variables here.
try a new profile with a new version of fast dial loaded.
no other extensions loaded
no old bookmarks
no synchronisation with any other machines
see if you can reproduce the problem.
also in the non working profile see if the error is the same as previous user.
please also mention firefox version and fast dial version

I suppose another approach would be to go to preferences/appearance/theme and create a new theme from the default settings.
If that works delete the old theme
