FD confuses Foxmarks?
kmc —Thu, 08/28/2008 - 20:28
I use Foxmarks which is an online bookmark synchronizer. Anytime I made a change to FD, e.g., options in preferences, refresh all, etc., Foxmarks thinks there's a modification in bookmarks which will prompt a synchronization afterward. So, what did FD do to bookmarks? I'm using:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1a2pre) Gecko Minefield/3.1a2pre - Build ID: 20080828155133
# Fast Dial 2.1
# Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer 2.1.0.12
Thanks

Please have a look at this
It would seem now that it is a possibility now in Fast Dial to give whatever name one wishes to the Fast Dial Root Folder.
Please examine this behaviour in FD 2.14 and let me know if it remedies the woes of using Foxmarks and Fast Dial together, when one wishes to avoid synchronising Fast Dial.
