Submitted by jamesground on Sun, 10/09/2011 - 11:52First, thank you for your responses. Second, the "broken link" images that I was getting before are currently no longer there. Now I just have the same top box and right side box (the top being a folder, the side just a regular link) that won't load. It looks like it's loading an image, but it's not really getting it. So all I get is the refreshing/loading icon. If I right-click and refresh it continues doing the same thing. If I right-click and Refresh All all the other sites refresh normally and the same two are left trying to get an image.
I read that thread a few days ago and therefore had the new xpi file already installed. Fast Dial is working, it's just not 100%. Which I guess I shouldn't expect since the new xpi is just a work around.

Try popping a Logo into those two cells for the moment.
That should stop them refreshing endlessly
Apart from the folder which is the URL that does not load ?

I did update to 3.5b and then to 3.5.1 from here but both are giving me the same problems. I was getting, when trying to access Fast Dial through the normal means of either opening a new tab or through the menu button, just an empty black page or so it seemed, but when trying to view the details of the page it said it was fast dial. I can't access the Fast dial properties through a right click there. I can only access them through the add-ons window. I did try adding a picture as my background and found that indeed, that blank page that comes up when opening a new tab is fast dial because there was my image. I did try changing the settings for everything else in Fast Dial, which seemed to be all blank or set to black, but it seems that I cant save any settings. The background picture is the only one that saved and now I cant change or clear it that either. As a side note, I did check for my bookmarks under Bookmarks>FastDial and they are all still there. Any help would really be appreciated. Thank you i advance.
